TOC — Troubles Obsessionnels Contemporains is an independent curatorial and publishing platform based in Paris.

TOC develops publications, exhibitions, screenings and research projects across experimental visual culture, artist publishing, moving images and archival practices.

Working with artists, writers, curators and researchers, TOC approaches publishing and exhibition-making as forms of research: ways of bringing images, texts and practices into new relationships.

TOC ZINE is an irregular publication accompanying each exhibition curated by TOC. Ephemeral and iridescent, its form reflects the places it inhabits.



TOC ZINE ISSUE #1 takes the themes of revolt, resistance and resilience as its starting point. It offers an immersion into graphzine, fanzine and micro-publishing culture, bringing the historical archives of Le Dernier Cri, La Chienne and United Dead Artists into dialogue with the DIY production and distribution practices of a new generation.
